Examples of using Doth in English and their translations into Urdu

For what son is there, whom the father doth not correct?
وہ کون سا بیٹا اپنے باپ نظم و ضبط نہیں کرتا جن ہے?…?

Whom he loves, he doth chastise.
جس کو چاہے گا وہ عذاب کرے

For the light that doth not die.
اک نور ہے ایسا کہ جو مرنے نہیں دیتا

And soul is form and doth the body make.".
سنا ہے روح کو آنا ہے پھر بدن کی طرف

for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.”.
آپ کا رب کیا گھنٹے نہیں آنے والا

then love doth well denote.
محبت ہی دین کی روح ہے

But Allah doth call to the Home of Peace: He doth guide whom He pleaseth to a way that is straight.
اور الله سلامتی کے گھر کی طرف بلاتا ہے اور جسے چاہے سیدھا راستہ دکھاتا ہے

Allah doth wish to Turn to you,
اور خدا تو چاہتا ہے

Sura II Verse 242:“Thus doth God make clear His signs to you: in order that ye may understand.
اس طرح کھول کھول کر بیان کرتا ہے اللہ تمہارے لیے اپنے احکام تاکہ تم سمجھ سے کام لو

But Allah doth call to the Home of Peace: He doth guide whom He pleaseth to a way that is straight.
اور خدا سلامتی کے گھر کی طرف بلاتا ہے۔ اور جس کو چاہتا ہے سیدھا راستہ دکھاتا ہے

Doth he not thereby set thee upon thy guard, and give thee an opportunity of growing like unto God?
کیا اللہ نے آپ کو یتیم نہیں پایا پھر آپ کو ٹھکانہ دیا۔[الضحّےٰ]۔?

Or He can cause them to perish because of the(evil) which(the men) have earned; but much doth He forgive.
یا انہیں ان کے کرتوتوں کے باعﺚ تباه کردے، وه تو بہت سے خطاؤں سے درگزر فرمایا کرتا ہے

Allah doth wish to Turn to you,
اور اللہ چاہتا ہے

Doth he promise you that you, when ye are dead
کیا تمہیں وعدہ دیتا ہے کہ جب تم مر جاؤ گے اور مٹی

Meeting with their Lord? Ah indeed! It is He that doth encompass all things!
آگاہ ہوجاؤ کہ اللہ ہر شے پر احاطہ کئے ہوئے ہے!

Therefore, both he that giveth his virgin in marriage, doth well; and he that giveth her not, doth better.”.
پس جو اپنی کنُواری لڑکی کو بیاہ دیتا ہے وہ اچھّا کرتا ہے اور جو نہیں بیاہتا وہ اَور بھی اچھّا کرتا ہے

But Allah doth call to the Home of Peace: He doth guide whom He pleaseth to a way that is straight.
اور اللہ تعالیٰ سلامتی کے گھر کی طرف تم کو بلاتا ہے اور جس کو چاہتا ہے راه راست پر چلنے کی توفیق دیتا ہے

Thus doth(He) send inspiration to thee as(He did)
حم عسق اسی طرح تیری طرف اور تجھ سے اگلوں

Ah indeed! Are they in doubt concerning the Meeting with their Lord? Ah indeed! It is He that doth encompass all things!
یقین جانو! کہ یہ لوگ اپنے رب کے روبرو جانے سے شک میں ہیں، یاد رکھو کہ اللہ تعالیٰ ہر چیز کا احاطہ کیے ہوئے ہے!

stand not in an evil thing, for all that he pleaseth he doth.
کسی بری بات پر اصرار نہ کرو کیوں کہ وہ جو کچھ چاہتا ہے کرتا ہے
