Give them an example about worldly life. It is like the vegetation of the earth that thrives when watered by the rain, which We send down from the sky, and then it all becomes stubble which the wind blows away. God has power over all things.
ഇഹലോകജീവിതത്തിന്റെ ഉദാഹരണം നീ അവര്ക്ക് വിവരിച്ചുകൊടുക്കുക: നാം മാനത്തുനിന്ന് മഴ വീഴ്ത്തി. അതുവഴി സസ്യങ്ങള് ഇടകലര്ന്നു വളര്ന്നു. താമസിയാതെ അതൊക്കെ കാറ്റില് പറക്കുന്ന തുരുമ്പായിമാറി. അല്ലാഹു എല്ലാ കാര്യങ്ങള്ക്കും കഴിവുറ്റവനാണ്.Do not even cast your eyes towards the worldly goods We have granted to different kinds of people, nor grieve over the state they are in, but turn your loving attention to the believers instead.
അവരില്( അവിശ്വാസികളില്) പെട്ട പല വിഭാഗക്കാര്ക്കും നാം സുഖഭോഗങ്ങള് നല്കിയിട്ടുള്ളതിന്റെ നേര്ക്ക് നീ നിന്റെ ദൃഷ്ടികള് നീട്ടിപ്പോകരുത്. അവരെപ്പറ്റി നീ വ്യസനിക്കേണ്ട. സത്യവിശ്വാസികള്ക്ക് നീ നിന്റെ ചിറക് താഴ്ത്തികൊടുക്കുക.Do not turn your eyes covetously towards the embellishments of worldly life that We have bestowed upon various kinds of people to test them.
അവരില്( മനുഷ്യരില്) പല വിഭാഗങ്ങള്ക്ക് നാം ഐഹികജീവിതാലങ്കാരം അനുഭവിപ്പിച്ചതിലേക്ക് നിന്റെ ദൃഷ്ടികള് നീ പായിക്കരുത്. അതിലൂടെ നാം അവരെ പരീക്ഷിക്കാന്( ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്നു.) നിന്റെ രക്ഷിതാവ് നല്കുന്നOn the Day when the faithless will be paraded before the Fire:“You have squandered your good in your worldly life, and you took pleasure in them. So today you are being repaid with the torment of shame, because of your unjust arrogance on earth, and because you used to sin.”.
സത്യനിഷേധികളെ നരകത്തിനു മുന്നില് കൊണ്ടുവരുന്ന ദിവസം അവരോട് പറയും: ഐഹിക ജീവിതത്തില് തന്നെ നിങ്ങളുടെ വിശിഷ്ട വിഭവങ്ങളൊക്കെയും നിങ്ങള് തുലച്ചുകളഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു. അതിന്റെ ആനന്ദം ആസ്വദിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. ഇന്നു നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് പ്രതിഫലമായുള്ളത് വളരെ നിന്ദ്യമായ ശിക്ഷയാണ്. നിങ്ങള് അനര്ഹമായി ഭൂമിയില് നിഗളിച്ചു നടന്നതിനാലാണിത്. അധര്മം പ്രവര് ത്തിച്ചതിനാലും.And keep yourself patient[by being] with those who call upon their Lord in the morning and the evening, seeking His countenance. And let not your eyes pass beyond them, desiring adornments of the worldly life, and do not obey one whose heart We have made heedless of Our remembrance and who follows his desire and whose affair is ever[in] neglect.
തങ്ങളുടെ നാഥന്റെ പ്രീതി പ്രതീക്ഷിച്ച് രാവിലെയും വൈകുന്നേരവും അവനോട് പ്രാര്ഥിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നവരോടൊപ്പം നീ നിന്റെ മനസ്സിനെ ഉറപ്പിച്ചുനിര്ത്തുക. ഇഹലോക ജീവിതത്തിന്റെ മോടി തേടി നിന്റെ കണ്ണുകള് അവരില്നിന്നും തെറ്റിപ്പോവാതിരിക്കട്ടെ. നമ്മുടെ സ്മരണയെ സംബന്ധിച്ച് അശ്രദ്ധരാവുന്നവനെയും തന്നിഷ്ടത്തെ പിന്പറ്റുന്നവനെയും പരിധി ലംഘിച്ച് ജീവിക്കുന്നവനെയും നീ അനുസരിച്ചുപോകരുത്.(Muhammad), ask them,"Shall I tell you what is far superior to worldly pleasures? Those who have fear of God will have(as their reward)
( നബിയേ,) പറയുക: അതിനെക്കാള്( ആ ഇഹലോക സുഖങ്ങളെക്കാള്) നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് ഗുണകരമായിട്ടുള്ളത് ഞാന് പറഞ്ഞുതരട്ടെയോ? സൂക്ഷ്മത പാലിച്ചവര്ക്ക് തങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷിതാവിന്റെ അടുക്കല് താഴ്ഭാഗത്തു കൂടി അരുവികള് ഒഴുകിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നis only against your ownselves,- a brief enjoyment of this worldly life, then(in the end)
നിങ്ങള് ചെയ്യുന്ന അതിക്രമം നിങ്ങള്ക്കെതിരില് തന്നെയായിരിക്കും( ഭവിക്കുക.) ഇഹലോകജീവിതത്തിലെ സുഖാനുഭവം മാത്രമാണ്( അത് വഴി നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് കിട്ടുന്നത്).your injustice is only against yourselves,[being merely] the enjoyment of worldly life. Then to Us is your return,
നിങ്ങള് ചെയ്യുന്ന അതിക്രമം നിങ്ങള്ക്കെതിരില് തന്നെയായിരിക്കും( ഭവിക്കുക.) ഇഹലോകജീവിതത്തിലെ സുഖാനുഭവം മാത്രമാണ്( അത് വഴി നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് കിട്ടുന്നത്).This only teaches me worldly knowledge.
മാദ്ധ്യമങ്ങളിലൂടെയുള്ള അറിവ് മാത്രമാണ് എനിക്കുള്ളത്.Personally they remained cut off from everything worldly.
സമർഥമായി എല്ലാറ്റിൽ നിന്നും അവർ ഊരിപ്പോന്നു.Everything in this worldly life has a finite end.
ഈ നശ്വരമായ ലോകത്തില് എല്ലാത്തിനും ഒരു അവസാനമുണ്ട്.We must turn from those worldly ways, and be transformed by the renewing of our mind.

ഐഹികജീവിതത്തില് നിന്ന് പ്രത്യക്ഷമായത് അവര് മനസ്സിലാക്കുന്നു. പരലോകത്തെപ്പറ്റിയാകട്ടെ അവര് അശ്രദ്ധയില് തന്നെയാകുന്നു.In fact, many worldly conferences are organized in a far better way than most Christian conferences.

ഈ ഐഹിക ജീവിതം കളിയും തമാശയും മാത്രം. നിങ്ങള് സത്യവിശ്വാസം സ്വീകരിക്കുകയും സൂക്ഷ്മതയുള്ളവരാവുകയുമാണെങ്കില് നിങ്ങളര്ഹിക്കുന്ന പ്രതിഫലം അല്ലാഹു നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് നല്കും. നിങ്ങളോട് അവന് നിങ്ങളുടെ സ്വത്തൊന്നും ചോദിക്കുന്നില്ലല്ലോ.The ones who prefer the worldly life over the Hereafter and avert[people] from the way of Allah, seeking to make it(seem) deviant. Those are in extreme error.
പരലോകത്തെക്കാള് ഇഹലോക ജീവിതത്തെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നവരാണവര്. ദൈവമാര്ഗത്തില് നിന്ന് ജനത്തെ തടഞ്ഞുനിര്ത്തുന്നവരും ദൈവമാര്ഗം വികലമാകണമെന്നാഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നവരുമാണ്. അവര് വഴികേടില് ഏറെദൂരം പിന്നിട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.The worldly life is just a sport and pastime; and if you accept faith and be pious, He will bestow your rewards to you, and not at all ask you for your wealth.
ഈ ഐഹിക ജീവിതം കളിയും തമാശയും മാത്രം. നിങ്ങള് സത്യവിശ്വാസം സ്വീകരിക്കുകയും സൂക്ഷ്മതയുള്ളവരാവുകയുമാണെങ്കില് നിങ്ങളര്ഹിക്കുന്ന പ്രതിഫലം അല്ലാഹു നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് നല്കും. നിങ്ങളോട് അവന് നിങ്ങളുടെ സ്വത്തൊന്നും ചോദിക്കുന്നില്ലല്ലോ.To whom the worldly life is dearer than the Hereafter, and who prevent from the way of Allah and wish deviations in it; they are in extreme error.
പരലോകത്തെക്കാള് ഇഹലോക ജീവിതത്തെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നവരാണവര്. ദൈവമാര്ഗത്തില് നിന്ന് ജനത്തെ തടഞ്ഞുനിര്ത്തുന്നവരും ദൈവമാര്ഗം വികലമാകണമെന്നാഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നവരുമാണ്. അവര് വഴികേടില് ഏറെദൂരം പിന്നിട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.
