O my people, this worldly life is only[temporary] enjoyment, and indeed, the Hereafter- that is the home of[permanent] settlement.
โอ้หมู่ชนของฉันเอ๋ยแท้จริงชีวิตแห่งโลกนี้เป็นเพียงแค่ความเพลิดเพลินเท่านั้นและแท้จริงปรโลกนั้นมันเป็นที่อยู่อันมั่นคงBe it known to those who want worldly rewards that God holds the rewards for this life as well as the life to come. God is All-hearing and All-seeing.
ผู้ใดที่ต้องการสิ่งตอบแทนในโลกนี้ก็ที่อัลลอฮฺนั้นมีทั้งสิ่งตอบแทนในโลกนี้และปรโลกและอัลลอฮฺนั้นเป็นผู้ทรงได้ยินผู้ทรงเห็นMy people, this worldly life is only the means(to an end), but the life hereafter will be the everlasting abode.
โอ้หมู่ชนของฉันเอ๋ยแท้จริงชีวิตแห่งโลกนี้เป็นเพียงแค่ความเพลิดเพลินเท่านั้นและแท้จริงปรโลกนั้นมันเป็นที่อยู่อันมั่นคงThe ones who prefer the worldly life over the Hereafter and avert[people] from the way of Allah, seeking to make it(seem) deviant.
To whom the worldly life is dearer than the Hereafter, and who prevent from the way of Allah and wish deviations in it; they are in extreme error.
บรรดาผู้พอใจเลือกเอาชีวิตในโลกนี้เหนือปรโลกและปิดกั้นจากทางของอัลลอฮฺ และต้องการที่จะให้มันคดเคี้ยวเหล่านั้นอยู่ในการหลงทางที่ห่างไกลThis is because the worldly life was dearer to them than the Hereafter; and because Allah does not guide such disbelieving people.
ทั้งนี้เพราะว่าพวกเขาพอใจเลือกเอาชีวิตในโลกนี้เหนือปรโลกและแท้จริงอัลลอฮ์จะไม่ทรงชี้แนะทางแก่กลุ่มชนผู้ปฏิเสธศรัทธาAnd this worldly life is nothing but pastime and game; indeed the abode of the Hereafter- that is indeed the true life; if only they knew.
และการมีชีวิตอยู่ในโลกนี้มิใช่อื่นใดเว้นแต่เป็นการละเล่นและการสนุกสนานร่าเริงและแท้จริงสถานที่ในปรโลกนั้นแน่นอนมันคือชีวิตที่แท้จริงหากพวกเขาได้รู้So We sent upon them a screaming wind during days of misfortune to make them taste the punishment of disgrace in the worldly life;

และในหมู่มนุษย์นั้นมีผู้ที่คำพูดของเขาทำให้เจ้าพึงพอใจในชีวิตความเป็นอยู่แห่งโลกนี้และจะอ้างอัลลอฮ์เป็นพยานซึ่งสิ่งที่อยู่ในหัวใจของเขาและขณะเดียวกันก็เป็นผู้โต้เถียงที่ฉกาจฉกรรจ์ยิ่งAnd he went out before his people in his splendor. Those who desired the worldly life said,“If only we possessed the likes of what Quaroon was given. He is indeed very fortunate.”.

พึงรู้เถิดว่าพวกเจ้านี้แหละได้เถียงแทนพวกเขากันในชีวิตความเป็นอยู่แห่งโลกนี้แล้วใครเล่าที่จะเถียงกับอัลลอฮฺแทนพวกเขาในวันกิยามะฮ์ หรือว่าใครเล่าจะเป็นผู้รับมอบหมายให้คุ้มครองรักษา?Worldly life has been glamorized for the faithless, and they ridicule the faithful. But those who are Godwary shall be above them on the Day of Resurrection, and Allah provides for whomever He wishes without any reckoning.
ชีวิตความเป็นอยู่แห่งโลกนี้นั้นได้ถูกประดับให้สวยงามแก่ผู้ปฏิเสธศรัทธาทั้งหลายและพวกเขายังเย้ยหยันบรรดาผู้ที่ศรัทะาด้วยแต่บรรดาผู้ยำเกรงนั้นเหนือกว่าพวกเขาในวันกิยามะฮ์และอัลลอฮ์จะทรงประทานปัจจัยยังชีพแก่ผู้ที่พระองค์ทรงประสงค์โดยปราศจากการคำนวณนับThere is he whose sayings pleases you in this worldly life and uses Allah as a witness for what is in his heart, but he is most stubborn in adversary.
และในหมู่มนุษย์นั้นมีผู้ที่คำพูดของเขาทำให้เจ้าพึงพอใจในชีวิตความเป็นอยู่แห่งโลกนี้และจะอ้างอัลลอฮ์เป็นพยานซึ่งสิ่งที่อยู่ในหัวใจของเขาและขณะเดียวกันก็เป็นผู้โต้เถียงที่ฉกาจฉกรรจ์ยิ่งSo let those who sell the worldly life for the Everlasting Life fight in the way of Allah, whoever fights in the way of Allah, and is killed or conquers, We shall give him a great wage.
จงสู้รบในทางของอัลลอฮฺเถิดบรรดาผู้ขายชีวิตความเป็นอยู่แห่งโลกนี้ด้วยปรโลกและผู้ใดสู้รบในทางของอัลลอฮฺ และเขาถูกฆ่าหรือได้รับชัยชนะเราจะให้รางวัลอันใหญ่หลวงแก่เราHere you are- those who argue on their behalf in[this] worldly life- but who will argue with Allah for them on the Day of Resurrection, or who will[then] be their representative?
พึงรู้เถิดว่าพวกเจ้านี้แหละได้เถียงแทนพวกเขากันในชีวิตความเป็นอยู่แห่งโลกนี้แล้วใครเล่าที่จะเถียงกับอัลลอฮฺแทนพวกเขาในวันกิยามะฮ์ หรือว่าใครเล่าจะเป็นผู้รับมอบหมายให้คุ้มครองรักษา?And the worldly life is not but amusement and diversion; but the home of the Hereafter is best for those who fear Allah, so will you not reason?
และชีวิตความเป็นอยู่แห่งโลกนี้นั้นมิใช่อะไรอื่นนอกจากการเล่นและการเพลิดเพลินเท่านั้นและแน่นอนสำหรับบ้านแห่งอาคีเราะห์ นั้นดียิ่งกว่าสำหรับบรรดาผู้ที่ยำเกรงพวกเจ้าไม่ใช้ปัญญาดอกหรือ?And whatever thing you[people] have been given- it is[only for] the enjoyment of worldly life and its adornment. And what is with Allah is better and more lasting; so will you not use reason?
และสิ่งใดที่พวกเจ้ามิได้รับนั้นมันเป็นเพียงปัจจัยแห่งชีวิตของโลกนี้และเป็นเครื่องประดับของมันแต่ที่อัลลอฮ์นั้นดีกว่าและจีรังกว่าพวกเจ้าไม่ใช้ปัญญาใคร่ครวญดอกหรือ?
