പറയുക: ഞാന്‍ ഇതിന്‍റെ പേരില്‍ നിങ്ങളോട് യാതൊരു പ്രതിഫലവും ചോദിക്കുന്നില്ല. വല്ലവനും നിന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവിങ്കലേക്കുള്ള മാര്‍ഗം സ്വീകരിക്കണം

Say to them:“Whatever recompense I might ask of you, it shall be yours.
നീ പറയുക: നിങ്ങളോട് ഞാന്‍ വല്ല പ്രതിഫലവും ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടിട്ടുണ്ടെങ്കില്‍ അത് നിങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് വേണ്ടിതന്നെയാകുന്നു. എനിക്കുള്ള പ്രതിഫലം

And cut off the hands of those men or women who are thieves- a recompense of their deeds, a punishment from Allah; and Allah is Almighty, Wise.
മോഷ്ടിക്കുന്നവന്‍റെയും മോഷ്ടിക്കുന്നവളുടെയും കൈകള്‍ നിങ്ങള്‍ മുറിച്ചുകളയുക. അവര്‍ സമ്പാദിച്ചതിന്നുള്ള പ്രതിഫലവും, അല്ലാഹുവിങ്കല്‍ നിന്നുള്ള മാതൃകാപരമായ ശിക്ഷയുമാണത്‌. അല്ലാഹു പ്രതാപിയും യുക്തിമാനുമാകുന്നു.

Yet had they believed, and been godfearing, a recompense from God had been better, if they had but known!
അവര്‍ വിശ്വസിക്കുകയും ദോഷബാധയെ സൂക്ഷിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തിരുന്നാല്‍ അല്ലാഹുവിങ്കല്‍ നിന്ന് ലഭിക്കുന്ന പ്രതിഫലം എത്രയോ ഉത്തമമാകുന്നു. അവരത് മനസ്സിലാക്കിയിരുന്നെങ്കില്‍!

വിശ്വസിക്കുകയും സല്‍കര്‍മ്മങ്ങള്‍ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തവര്‍ക്ക് അവന്‍ പ്രതിഫലം നല്‍കുന്നതിന് വേണ്ടിയത്രെ അത്‌. അങ്ങനെയുള്ളവര്‍ക്കാകുന്നു പാപമോചനവും മാന്യമായ ഉപജീവനവും ഉള്ളത്‌.

അവര്‍ വിശ്വസിക്കുകയും ദോഷബാധയെ സൂക്ഷിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തിരുന്നാല്‍ അല്ലാഹുവിങ്കല്‍ നിന്ന് ലഭിക്കുന്ന പ്രതിഫലം എത്രയോ ഉത്തമമാകുന്നു. അവരത് മനസ്സിലാക്കിയിരുന്നെങ്കില്‍!

പറയുക:" ഇതിന്റെ പേരില്‍ ഞാന്‍ നിങ്ങളോട് ഒരു പ്രതിഫലവും ആവശ്യപ്പെടുന്നില്ല. ആരെങ്കിലും തന്റെ നാഥനിലേക്കുള്ള വഴിയവലംബിക്കാനുദ്ദേശിക്കുന്നുവെങ്കില്‍ അങ്ങനെ ചെയ്തുകൊള്ളട്ടെയെന്നുമാത്രം.”.

The recompense of a sin is a sin like it,
തിന്മക്കുള്ള പ്രതിഫലം തത്തുല്യമായ തിന്മ തന്നെ.

Those who give to charity night and day, secretly and publicly, receive their recompense from their Lord;
രാവും പകലും രഹസ്യമായും പരസ്യമായും തങ്ങളുടെ ‎ധനം ചെലവഴിക്കുന്നവര്‍ക്ക് അവരുടെ നാഥന്റെ ‎അടുക്കല്‍ അവരര്‍ഹിക്കുന്ന പ്രതിഫലമുണ്ട്. ‎അവര്‍ക്കൊന്നും പേടിക്കാനില്ല.

Surely those who took to themselves the Calf-- anger shall overtake them from their Lord, and abasement in this present life; so We recompense those who are forgers.
കാളക്കുട്ടിയെ ദൈവമായി സ്വീകരിച്ചവരാരോ അവര്‍ക്കു തങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷിതാവിങ്കല്‍ നിന്നുള്ള കോപവും, ഐഹികജീവിതത്തില്‍ നിന്ദ്യതയും വന്നുഭവിക്കുന്നതാണ്‌. കള്ളം കെട്ടിച്ചമയ്ക്കുന്നവര്‍ക്കു നാം പ്രതിഫലം നല്‍കുന്നത് അപ്രകാരമത്രെ.

So We recompense him who is prodigal and believes not in the signs of his Lord; and the chastisement of the world to come is more terrible and more enduring.
അതിരുകവിയുകയും, തന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവിന്‍റെ ദൃഷ്ടാന്തങ്ങളില്‍ വിശ്വസിക്കാതിരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തവര്‍ക്ക് അപ്രകാരമാണ് നാം പ്രതിഫലം നല്‍കുന്നത്‌. പരലോകത്തെ ശിക്ഷ കൂടുതല്‍ കഠിനമായതും നിലനില്‍ക്കുന്നതും തന്നെയാകുന്നു.
