تم(سب) نیچے اتر جاؤ تم میں سے بعض بعض کے دشمن ہیں، اور تمہارے لئے زمین میں معیّن مدت تک جائے سکونت اور متاعِ حیات(مقرر کر دیئے گئے ہیں گویا تمہیں زمین میں قیام و معاش کے دو بنیادی حق دے کر اتارا جا رہا ہے، اس پر اپنا نظامِ زندگی استوار کرنا)o

And those who yearned for his place only the day before began to say: Ah!(know) that Allah amplifies and straitens the means of subsistence for whom He pleases of His servants; had not Allah been gracious to us, He would most surely have abased us; ah!(know) that the ungrateful are never successful.
اب وہی لوگ جو کل اس کی منزلت کی تمنا کر رہے تھے کہنے لگے"افسوس، ہم بھول گئے تھے کہ اللہ اپنے بندوں میں سے جس کا رزق چاہتا ہے کشادہ کرتا ہے اور جسے چاہتا ہے نَپا تلا دیتا ہے اگر اللہ نے ہم پر احسان نہ کیا ہوتا تو ہمیں بھی زمین میں دَھنسا دیتا افسوس ہم کو یاد نہ رہا کہ کافر فلاح نہیں پایا کرتے

صاحبِ وسعت کو اپنی وسعت(کے لحاظ) سے خرچ کرنا چاہئے، اور جس شخص پر اُس کا رِزق تنگ کر دیا گیا ہو تو وہ اُسی(روزی)

اور تم نے اپنی روزی یہی قرار دے رکھی ہے کہ اس کا انکار کرتے رہو

But when He trieth him, restricting his subsistence for him, then saith he(in despair),"My Lord hath humiliated me!".
اور جب(دوسری طرح) آزماتا ہے کہ اس پر روزی تنگ کر دیتا ہے تو کہتا ہے کہ(ہائے) میرے پروردگار نے مجھے ذلیل کیا

But when He trieth him, restricting his subsistence for him, then saith he(in despair),"My Lord hath humiliated me!".
اور جب وه اس کو آزماتا ہے اس کی روزی تنگ کر دیتا ہے تو وه کہنے لگتا ہے کہ میرے رب نے میری اہانت کی(اور ذلیل کیا

But when He trieth him, restricting his subsistence for him, then saith he(in despair),"My Lord hath humiliated me!".
لیکن جب اسے آزماتا ہے پھر اس پر اس کی روزی تنگ کر تا ہے تو کہتا ہے میرے رب نے مجھے ذلیل کر دیا

We do not ask you for subsistence; We do give you subsistence, and the(good) end is for guarding(against evil).
خود بھی اس کے پابند رہو ہم تم سے کوئی رزق نہیں چاہتے، رزق تو ہم ہی تمہیں دے رہے ہیں اور انجام کی بھلائی تقویٰ ہی کے لیے ہے

And We have provided therein means as subsistence, for you and for those whose subsistence ye are not responsible.
اور ہم نے اس میں تمہارے لئے اسبابِ معیشت پیدا کئے اور ان(انسانوں، جانوروں اور پرندوں) کے لئے بھی جنہیں تم رزق مہیا نہیں کرتے،(20
