THE COMMANDMENT in Urdu translation

of the earth the like thereof. The commandment cometh down among them slowly,

انہی کی برابر زمینیں حکم ان کے درمیان اترتا ہے

who created several skies, and as many earths. The commandment is sent down among them

How many a city turned in disdain from the commandment of its Lord and His Messengers;

اور بہت سی بستیوں(کے رہنے والوں) نے اپنے پروردگار اور اس کے پیغمبروں کے احکام سے سرکشی کی

How many a city turned in disdain from the commandment of its Lord and His Messengers; and then We made with it a terrible reckoning

اور بہت سی بستی والوں نے اپنے رب کے حکم سے اور اس کے رسولوں سے سرتابی کی

Then they hamstrung the she camel and disdained the commandment of their Lord, and said:

پھر اونٹنی کے پاؤں کاٹ ڈالے اور اپنے رب کے حکم سے سرکشی کی

آخر انہوں نے اونٹی(کی کونچوں) کو کاٹ ڈالا اور اپنے پروردگار کے حکم سے سرکشی کی

And how many a city trespassed the commandment of its Lord and His apostles!

اور بہت سی بستیوں(کے رہنے والوں) نے اپنے پروردگار اور اس کے پیغمبروں کے احکام سے سرکشی کی

Then they hamstrung the she camel and disdained the commandment of their Lord, and said:

پس انہوں نے اس اونٹنی کو مار ڈاﻻ اور اپنے پروردگار کے حکم سے سرکشی کی

And how many a town which rebelled against the commandment of its Lord and His apostles,

اور ایسی کتنی بستیاں ہیں جنہوں نے اپنے پروردگار اور اس کے رسولوں کے حکم سے سرتابی کی

And how many a city trespassed the commandment of its Lord and His apostles! Wherefore We reckoned with them a stern reckoning, and We tormented them

اور بہت سی بستی والوں نے اپنے رب کے حکم سے اور اس کے رسولوں سے سرتابی کی

Then they hamstrung the she camel and disdained the commandment of their Lord, and said: Salih! bring upon us that wherewith thou hast threatened us if thou art in sooth of the sent ones.

پس ناقہ کی کُوچیں کاٹ دیں اور اپنے رب کے حکم سے سرکشی کی اور بولے اے صالح! ہم پر لے آؤ جس کا تم سے وعد دے رہے ہو اگر تم رسول ہو

And how many a city trespassed the commandment of its Lord and His apostles!

کتنی ہی بستیاں ہیں جنہوں نے اپنے رب اور اس کے رسولوں کے حکم سے سرتابی کی

That is the commandment of Allah which He hath sent down Unto you. And whosoever feareth Allah, He Will expiate his misdeeds from him, and will magnify for him his hire.

یہ اللہ کا امر ہے جو اس نے تمہاری طرف نازل فرمایا ہے۔ اور جو شخص اللہ سے ڈرتا ہے وہ اُس کے چھوٹے گناہوں کو اس(کے نامۂ اعمال) سے مٹا دیتا ہے اور اَجر و ثواب کو اُس کے لئے بڑا کر دیتا ہے

So they killed the she-camel and insolently defied the Commandment of their Lord, and said:"O Salih(Saleh)! Bring about your

پس انہوں نے اونٹنی کو(کاٹ کر) مار ڈالا اور اپنے ربّ کے حکم سے سرکشی کی اور کہنے لگے:

And how many a town which rebelled against the commandment of its Lord and His apostles, so We called it to account severely and We chastised it(with)

اور بہت سی بستی والوں نے اپنے رب کے حکم سے اور اس کے رسولوں سے سرتابی کی

Then they hamstrung the she-camel, disdainfuliy disobeyed the commandment of their Lord, and said:'O Salih!

پھر انہوں نے اس اونٹنی کو مار ڈالا اور پورے تمرد کے ساتھ اپنے رب کے حکم کی خلاف ورزی کر گزرے،

and they flouted the commandment of their Lord, and they said:

اپنے رب کے حکم سے سرکشی کی

and they flouted the commandment of their Lord, and they said:

اپنے پروردگار کے حکم سے سرکشی کی

So they hamstrung the she-camel, and they flouted the commandment of their Lord, and they said: O Salih! Bring upon us that thou threatenest if thou art indeed of those sent(from Allah).
